Survey Results Illustrate “Real World” Status of Policies and Best Practices in Areas of Interest to EHS Managers.

BRENTWOOD, Tennessee (July 22, 2016)—EHS Daily Advisor ® announced today the results of “HAZCOM GHS 2016: How Companies Are Addressing New Regulations,” a research report sponsored by Brady Corp. Research reports are based on surveys conducted to discover the “real world” status of policies and best practices in areas of interest to EHS managers.

Four times a year the EHS Daily Advisor ® research team conducts detailed research into pressing, contemporary environmental, health, and safety (EHS) challenges to highlight best practices and common policies and procedures.

In our latest research report, “HAZCOM GHS 2016: How Companies Are Addressing New Regulations,” we wanted to learn more about how organizations are meeting their hazard communication challenges. What are the successes that organizations have experienced as a result of the new labeling, written plan, and training requirements, and what have been their pain points?

Our 445 respondents answered questions such as:

  • What is your current knowledge level of the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) update to OSHA’s hazard communication rule?
  • What role do you have in hazard communication (HazCom) training and education?
  • What are your remaining challenges for meeting the June 1, 2016, workplace labeling requirements?
  • And more!
